Sometimes things need to burn for the music to flourish.
Maybe you’ve noticed some things have changed. The name, the logo, the branding.
When I started Amy Jae, she felt like home. She was bright and soft and easy to understand. But somewhere along the way, she became only one part of me. As the music got darker and the ghosts began to speak clearer, Amy Jae could no longer carry the weight of the stories I have to tell.
I’ve never been one to shy away from change, and maybe that’s something you should know about me. I welcome calm, but I don’t mind chaos, because sometimes that’s where the best music lives.
There’s a world in my head. It’s made of smoke and Southern soil, of hymns and heartbreak, and powerful women who refuse to stay quiet. It’s haunted and holy and a little unhinged, and it’s where these songs were born.
This rebrand isn’t about leaving something behind. It’s about finally letting you in.
Welcome to The Reckoning.
See you in the smoke, darlings,
Hinton
